So Much For Updates!

WOOOOAH I got sidetracked.

We had a talking-to at work where we can't go to any sites that aren't work related. I hate it when one person ruins privileges for everyone....I just had to spell check that word. Just so you know.

Man, I have so many awesome things to share I have no idea where to start....

On a separate note....my friend is working on a project to compile free online writing lectures. So he went to New York to meet with some writing/publishing people and took mine and a friend's work with him for critique. I'm extremely pleased to say they liked it! I don't have the critiques back yet, but overall it was one of their favorites, so he says.

Eventually I'll do a post about all of that stuff. Supposedly it's good to have social media outlets for writers and artists, so once I have some more work finished, I think that's what I'm going to start doing.

Also - SLC Comic Con was a HUGE success!!! And a total blast! So I'm gonna throw some fun pics of that in here, too. Next time.

I don't know. I've been so tired lately. Perhaps it is because I've been staying up too late watching Sons of Anarchy. I just love it so much!!!

Favorite characters? Pretty much all of them. Jax, of course, Half Sack is super adorable, Opie is just so burly and cute at the same time, Tig is freaking nuts but that's kind of why I like him, Clay is just Ron Pearlman so how can you not like him? I LOVE Chibs because he's in all my favorite movies and who doesn't love an Irishman???? And Boone's just a super chill guy.

But I think Juice is my favoirte. ^_^ ahhh he's hot.

Anyways. It was my husband's birthday, and the decorations went a little like this:

Anyways it was a pretty AMAZING store fully of comic books and games and amazing TV shows and movies and funny gum and action figures...it was nerd heaven...I was in heaven...

Shot story - 

So we sit down on the curb to drink some smoothies and we see this lady - super tan and super asian and super colorful

And she's just BELTING out the national anthem and fluctuating her voice in a way that, if she was a talented singer, would sound good.

Then suddenly she stops and says "Amuricah"

And leaves.

Just, walks away. Aparently she wasn't a street performer after all.

Oh, and the psychotic homeless chick swerving in and out of the street stumbled over to us screaming "GIVE ME A PIPE! PLEASE SOMEONE GIVE ME A PIPE!!"

Gotta love them big cities and their crazy homeless people.

Woooah, just spent some time in Seattle. AWESOME.

Pike's Place? Amazing market full of all sorts of fun. AND CRUMPETS. Holy crap. I'm in love. Yum yum.

Anyways, they have these fish stands where these guys seriously throw the hugest fish you've ever seen about, all willy nilly like. It's super cool.

I DID NOT TAKE THESE TWO PHOTOS! I couldn't get a good pic of these dudes. But the asian dude was totally there like Fri Sat and Sun.

Talk about working on your feet all day...plus all these guys were all tattooed up and probably the only semi-attractive guys in Seattle. There's really not that many attractive people in Seattle...at least where we were. odd...
